IP whitelisting is a security measure that allows only specific, pre-approved IP addresses to access the Finmo dashboard.
Any connection attempt from an IP address not on the whitelist is automatically blocked, enhancing security by restricting unauthorized access.
Below are the steps to be followed to whitelist an IP on your Finmo dashboard.
1. Log in to your Finmo account and look for the Settings options in the bottom-left corner of the home screen as shown in the screenshot.
2. After opening Settings, look for the Security section in the menu, and you should see an option labeled IP Whitelisting (BETA)

- API Only: Allows only API calls from this IP.
- Dashboard + API : Grants full access.
Please note that multiple IP addresses can be added to the whitelist for enhanced access control.

that mimics the real (production) system but does not affect live data or transactions.
Please note: Enabling sandbox IP whitelisting provides the below capabilities:
- Safe testing space that replicates production systems
- No impact on live data or real transactions
- Full API functionality with test data
We highly recommend you to whitelist IPs in both sandbox and production once the testing is completed to avoid disp
